Of Ayyám-i-Há Bahá'u'lláh wrote: “It behooveth the people of Bahá, throughout these days, to provide good cheer for themselves, their kindred and, beyond them, the poor and needy, and with joy and exultation to hail and glorify their Lord, to sing His praise and magnify His Name.”
Members of the Bahá'í Faith in more than 200 countries and territories are celebrating a festival called Ayyám-i-Há involving hospitality, gift giving, charity and socially safe gatherings. The festival is sunset February 24th – March 1 (2022), serves as a spiritual preparation for the fast during the last month of the Bahá'í calendar which ends with the Bahá'í New Year at sunset March 21th (2022)
